Water and film coater LOEDIGE, type LHC150

The coater is designed for coating tablets with film as well as water solutions. The tablets are loaded into the machine manually or through loading chute. Coating with film solutions: coating agent is supplied from container through peristaltic coating pump, is sprayed from spray nozzle on product layer and is dried by continuous stream of air. Installed paddles in the rotating drum achieve even coating of the tablets by the coating agent as well as prevent sticking tablets together. Water coating: water solution is supplied from container through peristaltic coating pump and poured on the product layer. Coating process is done cyclically in 3 cycles: pouring, mixing, drying. Rotating drum and installed paddle achieve even coating of tablets by sugar coating as well as prevent sticking together. Thanks to possibility of regulation of process parameters, it is possible to exactly adapt technological conditions to product requirements. After finishing coating, the tablets are unloaded with help of contra-rotation of drum. The machine is cleaned semiautomatically with help of CIF module. Coating processes (sugar coating can be don in manual as well as fully automatic mode – based on pre-made procedure which is saved on the hard disk of the steering computer). Records of processes are recorded on the hard disk in PDF files.
